E-Tech Group has carried out hundreds of project in many sectors for many varied clients. We list a small sample on this page and have provided a link to our more comprehensive project list.

Galatta - Bulgaria's First Offshore Production Platform - Design, manufacture & installation of LV & HV switchgear and control room. Complete electrical installation and the supply of supervisory personnel to complete offshore & onshore hookup.


!Gariep - Diamond Drillship - Complete electrical design & installation carried out by E-Tech Tyneside. The conversion included the removal of existing mining equipment, lengthening of the vessel by insertion of a new mid body incorporating a moon pool, modifications to ship systems and installation of new seabed mining equipment.


Soroosh - Jackup rig conversion carried out in Dubai for the Saroosh project on behalf of Shell Iran and in partnership with Expro. Work included design, build and installation of LV & HV control room, integration of upgraded power system and complete changeover of intalled power & instrumentation cables.


 

Agbanni - Conversion of a flat deck barge to an FPO for the Agbanni field in Nigeria. The work was carried out in Gt Yarmouth for Expro North Sea. E-Tech Group carried out full electrical design and installation of power & process equipment, accomodation / control module and subsequent hookup on station. 


Arco Arun - When this vessel sank in the Thames, E-Tech provided a complete strip out and refit of the entire vessel. The cleaning and retesting af many capital items ensured this was a viable option to a new build. We provide extensive support to several offshore dredging fleets. A 24/7 repair and call out service is part of this service.


Early Production Projects - E-Tech's approach to complex problems has been invaluable for many years in the development and establishing of early production sites in some of the worlds most inhospitable places.


 

Glas Dowr FPSO - One of several Bluewater FPSO conversions and upgrades that we have supported. The Glas Dowr, converted in Teeside by Heerema was supplied with £2.5 milliion worth of cables, aceesories and control panels. This support extended through it working contract in field and during the following upgrade carried out in South Africa.


 

Royal Fleet Auxilliary Vessels

Fort Victoria - Orange Leaf - Argus - Grey Rover - Oakleaf - Mounts Bay

Some of the many RFA vessels we have supported through their refits.


 

Oil Refinery in Yemen - E-Tech Group's Switchgear Division and the our supply divisions are an integral primary contractor for the upgrade of this ageing refinery. We are providing MV & LV switchgear, cables, design and extensive technical support.


 

Cable Laying Vessel Conversions & Fleet Support - We have for many years support clients operating cable laying and subsea cable repair vessels. We have provided design, load calculations, installation teams, repair teams for conversions carried out in shipyards around the world.


 

Bleo Holm FPSO - Bluewater FPSO's converted and subsequently upgraded on Tyneside that E-Tech Group/BCD Cables supplied Cables, Switchgear, Design & Installation. In addition we provided temporary power units during the project.


 

PS Waverley - This classic vessel, the last of its kind in the world was carefully refitted in Gt Yarmouth using lottery funding and public support. Fittings, installation and switchgear had to be in keeping with the vintage look of the vessel but hid modern state of the art equipment,


 

Leadon FPSO ( Global Producer II ) - An extensive new build project carried out at Swan Hunters Shipyard on Tyneside UK.  BCD Cables, provided a cable specification package and subsequently supplied all cables and accessories throughout the project, providing a full cable management service.


 

Texaco Erskine - An upgraded process deck was constructed on Tyneside by McNulty Offshore which was added to the Erskine platform in the North Sea. Cables and Control Panels were supplied for this very "fast track" project.
