Our unique depth of knowledge and experience covers all aspects of traction motor overhaul, repair, refurbishment and modification alongside their general and particular failure modes.
We have a proven record, going back over many years of successful projects to make modifications to traction motor types, designed to improve performance, including extension between servicing intervals.
ARMATURE / ROTOR REWIND
With extensive experience and knowledge in the repair and rewind of all sizes of armatures and rotors our technical personnel will source, supply and process all requirements for the rewind process.
We incorporate the latest advances with insulation materials and carry out:
- Renewal of commutators and slip rings, or new mica vee-rings fitted.
- Commutators and slip rings machine finished to customer specifications.
- Dynamic balancing of rewound armatures and rotors.
All armature and rotor mechanical parts damaged will either be repaired or replaced. All of our work carries our guarantee and assurance of quality.
